Convert a date and time between world time zones — including India, the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Australia — with daylight saving handled for you.
Enter a date and time in one place, pick the two time zones, and see the equivalent time — with daylight saving applied automatically.
| Place | Local time | UTC offset |
|---|
Subtract the source zone's UTC offset to get UTC, then add the target zone's offset. Example: 10:00 AM in India = 23:30 (11:30 PM) the previous day in New York in January, and 12:30 AM the same day in July (daylight saving).
The Time Zone Calculator converts a date and time from one time zone to another. Choose the date and clock time, select the zone you are converting from and the zone you are converting to, and it shows the exact local time there, the UTC offset, whether daylight saving time is in effect, and how far ahead or behind the two places are. A table also shows the same moment in other major cities.
It is useful for scheduling meetings and calls across countries, planning travel, joining live events and webinars, and working with teams in India, the US, the UK, the Middle East, Singapore or Australia. Unlike calculators that use a fixed hour difference, this one applies daylight saving rules for the specific date, so “10:00 AM in India” is correct for both January and July in New York.
Need to add hours to a time rather than change zone? Use the Time Calculator.

Governments can change these rules. The calculator uses the time zone database built into your browser, which is updated with browser and operating-system updates.
Convert the local time to UTC by subtracting that zone's UTC offset, then add the offset of the target zone. For example, 10:00 in India (UTC+5:30) is 04:30 UTC, which is 23:30 the previous day in New York in January (UTC−5:00).
It changes with daylight saving. India is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of US Eastern time in winter (EST) and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer (EDT). Pacific time is 13:30 behind in winter and 12:30 behind in summer.
UTC is the modern time standard based on atomic clocks; GMT is a time zone (the UK's winter time) that matches UTC. For everyday use they are the same time.
Yes. It uses the date you enter to decide whether each zone is on daylight saving time, so results are right in both summer and winter.
Zones are up to 26 hours apart across the globe, so when it is morning in India it can still be the previous evening in the Americas.
No. India uses Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30) all year.
When clocks skip forward, some clock times (such as 02:30 on the spring-forward day in the US) never occur. The calculator moves it to the next valid time and shows a note.
The calculator uses the earlier occurrence and tells you the time is repeated, so you can adjust if you meant the later one.

No. The conversion runs in your browser using its built-in time zone database; nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
