Generate and validate schema, build and test sitemaps and robots.txt, and check indexability, canonicals, hreflang, redirects and orphan pages.
Thirteen technical SEO tools. All run directly against your site — no API key needed.
Use the JSON-LD validator to check the structured data on any page, and the schema generator to create valid markup for FAQ, Article, Organization, Product and more. Test your robots.txt and sitemap with the dedicated testers, then run the indexability, canonical and hreflang checkers on key pages to catch anything blocking search engines.
Technical SEO is the plumbing that lets search engines find, read and index your pages. Websolindia built these tools to catch the problems that silently cost traffic: a stray noindex, a sitemap full of redirects, a canonical pointing at the wrong page.
Every tool fetches your live pages and applies published rules — the robots.txt matcher follows Google's longest-match logic, and the schema validator checks required and recommended properties, ISO dates and nested items.
Generators produce files you can use immediately: JSON-LD, sitemap.xml, and Apache or Nginx redirect rules.
Pick a tool from the tabs above. This table shows what each one does and whether it needs an API key.
| Tool | What it does | Data source |
|---|---|---|
| Schema markup generator | Generate valid JSON-LD for FAQ, Article, Organization, Local business, Product, Breadcrumbs, How-to, Event, Person and WebSite — validated as it is created. | Built-in — no API key |
| JSON-LD validator | Validate the structured data on any page, or paste JSON-LD / HTML. Checks required and recommended properties, ISO dates, URLs and nested items (FAQ questions, offers, breadcrumbs, steps). | Built-in — no API key |
| FAQ, Article, Organization & Product schema tools | Focused generator for the four most-used schema types. Pick a type, fill the boxes, copy the validated JSON-LD. | Built-in — no API key |
| Breadcrumb schema checker | Crawl a site and check BreadcrumbList markup page by page: presence, valid structure, positions in order, and whether the last crumb matches the page. | Built-in — no API key |
| XML sitemap generator | Crawl your site and generate a standards-compliant sitemap.xml from the indexable pages it finds (200 status, not noindex, canonical to itself). | Built-in — no API key |
| XML sitemap validator | Validate a sitemap: XML structure, namespace, limits, duplicates, relative or off-site URLs, http/https mixing, lastmod format — then spot-check live status codes of URLs in it. | Built-in — no API key |
| Robots.txt tester | Fetch a site's robots.txt and test whether specific URLs are allowed for Googlebot, Bing or an AI crawler — see exactly which rule decides. | Built-in — no API key |
| Indexability checker | For up to 10 URLs: HTTP status, redirects, robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and canonical — with a clear indexable / not indexable verdict and the reasons. | Built-in — no API key |
| Redirect mapping tool | Moving or redesigning a site? Paste your old URLs; the tool crawls the new site and proposes the best matching new page for each, then writes the 301 rules for Apache (.htaccess) and Nginx. | Built-in — no API key |
| Canonical URL validator | Check canonical tags on up to 10 URLs: present, single, absolute, self-referencing, pointing at a live indexable page — and flag chains, http/https and trailing-slash mismatches. | Built-in — no API key |
| Hreflang checker | Read a page's hreflang annotations, validate language-region codes, check for x-default and a self-reference, and confirm each alternate links back (return tags). | Built-in — no API key |
| JavaScript rendering diagnostics | Does your content exist in the raw HTML, or only after JavaScript runs? Compares what a non-rendering crawler sees, detects frameworks and empty app roots, and sizes the script bundles. | Built-in — no API key |
| Orphan page finder | Find pages with no internal links pointing to them: URLs listed in your sitemap that the crawl never reaches through links, and crawled pages nobody links to. | Built-in — no API key |
| Type | Required | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Organization | name, url | logo, sameAs, contactPoint, address, description |
| WebSite | url | name, potentialAction, publisher |
| WebPage | — | name, description, url, datePublished, dateModified |
| Article | headline | image, author, datePublished, dateModified, publisher, description, mainEntityOfPage |
| Product | name | image, description, offers, aggregateRating, review, brand, sku |
| FAQPage | mainEntity | — |
| BreadcrumbList | itemListElement | — |
| HowTo | name, step | image, totalTime, description |
| Event | name, startDate, location | description, image, offers, endDate, eventStatus, organizer |
| Person | name | url, sameAs, jobTitle, image, worksFor |
| Review | itemReviewed, reviewRating, author | datePublished, reviewBody |
| VideoObject | name, thumbnailUrl, uploadDate | description, contentUrl, embedUrl, duration |
| LocalBusiness | name, address | telephone, openingHoursSpecification, geo, url, image, priceRange, sameAs, aggregateRating, areaServed |
Business subtypes (Dentist, Restaurant, ProfessionalService and others) are validated as LocalBusiness. Dates must be ISO-8601, URLs absolute, FAQ questions need an accepted answer, breadcrumb items need positions, and product offers need a price and currency.
| Tool | Method |
|---|---|
| Robots.txt tester | Picks the most specific user-agent group, then the longest matching Allow or Disallow rule; supports * and $; ties go to Allow |
| Sitemap validator | Checks XML structure, namespace, 50,000-URL limit, duplicates, relative and off-site URLs, http URLs, lastmod format, then spot-checks live status codes |
| Indexability | Combines HTTP status, redirects, robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and canonical |
| Redirect mapper | Scores each old URL against new pages: 65% URL words, 20% title, 15% H1; High ≥ 60%, Medium ≥ 30% |
| Orphan finder | Crawled pages and sitemap URLs with no internal links pointing to them |
| Topic | What to know |
|---|---|
| No JavaScript execution | The JavaScript rendering tool shows the raw HTML the server sends. Use Google Search Console's URL Inspection to see the rendered page. |
| Crawl size | Crawling tools read up to 25–100 pages per run, so orphan and sitemap results on large sites are partial. |
| Schema validation | Our rules cover common types. Always confirm eligibility for rich results in Google's Rich Results Test. |
| Redirect suggestions | Mappings are suggestions to review; test every redirect before going live. |
| Robots.txt | Tests follow Google's rules; other crawlers may interpret edge cases differently. |
JSON-LD is the format Google recommends for structured data: a block of JSON in a script tag that describes the page's content using schema.org vocabulary.
A sitemap helps search engines discover pages, especially on new or large sites. Include only canonical, indexable 200-status URLs.
It tells crawlers which parts of your site they may fetch. It does not remove pages from search results — use noindex for that.
Check status code, robots.txt, noindex, canonical and whether it is linked and in the sitemap. The indexability checker tests these together.
It names the preferred URL when similar pages exist. It should usually point to the page itself, be absolute and point to a live, indexable page.
Hreflang tells search engines which language or regional version of a page to show to which users. Each version must link to the others, including itself.
The built-in tools on this page are free and need no sign-up. Features that rely on third-party data (marked in the table above) only work when the site owner has connected that provider, because those providers charge per request. Visitors are never charged.
No. Addresses and keywords are used only to run your request and are not stored on our servers. A few tools save their own history (rankings, reviews, workspace data) in your browser's local storage so you can see change over time; clearing site data removes it.
Built-in checks read the public HTML your server returns and apply published rules, so they are repeatable and explainable. Estimates (traffic, visibility share, difficulty) are directional. Always confirm important findings in Google Search Console and your analytics.
They are built by the Websolindia team — a website design and SEO company in New Delhi, India, serving businesses since 2014. Every tool explains how it calculates results so you can check the logic.
